EDFA Card
Fixed-gain optical amplifier FGA board is an important part of OSP products, the product used in DWDM transmission system, to achieve the signal relay amplification, to extend the transmission distance. It can be divided into BA, PA, LA, etc. BA is used to improve the output power of the transmitter, LA is used to compensate the optical power loss on the line, PA is used to improve the receiver sensitivity. FGA is using the erbium-doped fiber as a gain medium, 980 or 1480nm pump laser as a pump source to realize one-stage amplifier or two-stage amplifier.
